Regis is back!

Regis finally returned, after his six week absence from "Live With Regis and Kelly" he finally made his return on this mornings show. The audience gave him a standing ovation and Kelly was unbelievably excited to have her "big daddy" back. Regis underwent bypass surgery and needed six weeks to recover. Regis said it was the worst experience he had ever gone through, he did not know what bypass surgery was until he went through it. Philbin said the only good thing that came out of his surgery was losing 8 pounds but aging 12 years. Kelly immediately contradicted Regis and said he looked amazing. The first guest on the show was David Letterman, it is very rare for the "Late Show" host to do talk shows but for Regis he decided to make an exception. Regis helped Letterman a lot when he underwent the same surgery, Regis hosted Letterman's show many times and was also Dave's first guest when he returned. Letterman and Regis are good friends and Dave came out to show his support. Welcome back "Big Daddy!"
