Morning News

The release of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's film "Grindhouse" was a major disappointment for Harvey Weinstein. He is considering re- releasing the film as two seperate movies. "Grindhouse" is a collaboration of two movies for the price of one. "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror" were combined into one feature film with fake commercials and trailers to separate them. People may not have understood the concept of the film which may be the reason for its failure. In its opening weekend "Grindhouse" only received $11.6 million. Weinstein thinks the reason for low numbers is because of the length of the film, it is over 3 hours and is a large time commitment for people. If it is released as two separate films it may do better.

The DNA results that will determine the results of who Danneilynn's father is will be released later today. Howard K. Stern an Larry Birkhead have been fighting over custody of Danneilynn for months. They have been fighting even before Anna Nicole's death. Birkhead truly thinks that he is Dannielynn's father but Stern's name is on her birth certificate as her legal father. Howard K. Stern tried to put the results of the paternity test on hold in order to keep with him as long as he could, he decided not to go through with this and said if Birkhead is truly the father he will not fight him over custody of Danielynn.
