Sweet Sunday's
Sunday's are supposed to be the most relaxing day of the weekend, most people stay at home and spend time catching up with their families or their chores. Many people think of Sunday as the day of rest, some families go to church then go out for a nice leisurely breakfast or brunch while others sleep in and read the paper while they spend the day in bed with their loved ones. Sunday's are a day to de-stress from the craziness of the rest of the weekend and it is time to be with the people you truly want to spend time with. Sundays are a day of eating and relaxing, after all most people have a huge Sunday dinner, and won't be able to move for the rest of the day anyway. Some people may dread Sunday's because it means that they have to go back to work tomorrow but at the same time it is their last day to relax before the stressful week begins. Take one day and try to spend time with the people you really care about, I guarantee it will make you happy and it will give you a chance to enjoy your sweet Sunday's.

Daily Recap

"American Idol" has definitely given back. The glorified telethon which aired Tuesday and Wednesday raised close to $60,000,000. "Idol Gives Back", which was hosted by Ellen Degeneres, aired in order to raise money for impoverished children in Africa and America, kids should be able to eat and get their medicine. No one wants a million little kids walking around looking like Nicolle Richie.

From a diamond bra to an eye patch Heidi Klum knows how to pull of anything. Instead of looking like a pirate she was able to dress up her eye patch and make it look fashionable. Girls all over the world will probably be making their own eye patch creations.

Will the eye patch make it to the runway?

Super model Heidi Klum is truly a fashion mogul, she can pull of anything! Heidi Klum hosted Germany's version of "Top Model" with an eye patch. She recently had an eye infection and sported a trendy eye patch. I guarantee if a few days girls across Germany are going to be sporting Heidi's look, and I am sure at some point the eye patch will be making its way down the runway.

Morning Snack

This snack is simple and so delicious. I decided to try a little experiment, I am a big fan of stuffed croissants and tried to make my own version of a strawberry stuffed croissant, I took a croissant and split it in half, I mixed together low fat cream cheese and strawberry preserves and spread it on both halves of the croissant. After i put the cream cheese mixture on the croissant I baked it in the toaster oven for five minutes. I let the croissant cool then added fresh sliced strawberries in the middle. It was so delicious, I wish I had thought of it before!

Time to grill!
It is summer time, and the grill is burning hot and steaming with fresh fish, hamburgers, hot dogs, and steak. The summer is approaching and it is all about the outdoor grilling and hanging out with your friends. Tonight is a trial and run error to see what my friends and I can cook for the rest of the summer. We are going to make stuffed burgers, grilled salmon, and grilled chicken. I will let you know what the best recipes for summer grilling will be.

Here's whats for lunch
Sorry guys there is no lunch recipe. I am unbelievably stuffed from eating a mountain of pancakes this morning. I have to say they were truly delicious and I cleaned my plate, I am regretting it now because I am so stuffed and can't move. Try making your own version of delicious fruity pancakes but try not to eat a mountain like I did unless you have nothing to do for the rest of the day.

Morning Snack

This morning's snack is more of a late breakfast than a snack. I had a craving for pancakes so I decided to make strawberry pancakes. I used a regular boxed pancake mix and added fresh strawberries into the batter, you can put any type of fruit into these pancakes I just happened to have fresh, sweet berries. The pancakes came out fluffy and delicious, just remember not to over mix your batter otherwise the pancakes will not be light and fluffy instead they will become very chewy. Pancakes are the perfect meal they are filling and satisfying, create your own pancakes today and enjoy!

Morning Snack

Cottage cheese with mixed tropical fruit is a delicious and healthy morning snack. It is easy to whip together and is very light and refreshing. Take 1/4 cup of your favorite cottage cheese and top it with fresh tropical fruits or canned fruits. I used canned this morning because I like to take a little bit of the liquid and mix it in with the cottage cheese in order to add a little more sweetness and tropical fruit flavor. Try this simple and easy snack that will leave you satisfied and energized until lunch. Enjoy!
