Alec was so freaked out by the way he acted towards his daughter that he did not want to be in the public eye any more. Alec has been in every paper and tabloid magazine this past week for calling his daughter Ireland " a rude, thoughtless little pig" he is saying he took his anger out on his daughter when he was really directing it toward his ex-wife Kim. Alec did an interview for "The View" that will air today, and told Rosie O'Donnell and Barbara Walter that he wants to quit his hit show that is based on "Saturday Night Live" "30 Rock." he is so embarrassed and ashamed by the way he treated his daughter and wants to keep a low profile for a little while. Representatives for "30 Rock" say Alec is not leaving the show and has to complete his contract then can decide if he wants to leave the show.

A warrant has been issued for Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty's arrest. Judge Dinesh Gupta issued the warrants in India's northwesterrn city Jaipur after a local citizen filed a complaint. Citizens of India are claiming the two actors " transgressed all limits of vulgarity." There are very strict public indecency laws in India and these two actors overstepped their boundaries, many citizens of India are extremely mad and disappointed at Richard and Shilpa's behavior. Last week crowds were burning many of Richard's popular movies in effigy, Richard had left India after the kissing incident but is a frequent visitor to the country. There is no saying what will happen to Gere if he is convicted but Indian law states a person who is arrested for public obscenity faces up to 6 months in prison, a fine, or both. Tobey Maguire made the most expensive movie ever made and he is not afraid to reap the rewards. Tobey is traveling around the world to promote Spider Man 3, but he is not traveling alone, he is bringing his entourage of 10, his fiance Jennifer Meyer, and his daughter Ruby. In every city he stays in Tobey asked to have a personal chef to cook him vegetarian meals, a rocking chair and full sized refrigerator in all of his hotel rooms, and two cases of the water he likes. Tobey knows this movie is going to be a huge success, and thinks he has every right to ask for whatever he wants. Good job Tobey! take advantage of it while you still can.


American Idol gave back last night, but unfortunately it was a fairly boring two hour show. There were performances by Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and others but it was not as fun to watch as I thought it would be . The best parts were when they showed the judges traveling to Africa. It showed the softer side of Simon and the fun side of Ryan as he played with many African children who were all very sick. Surprisingly Madonna was part of the show and did a short clip from where else, Malawi. She is trying to save impoverished African children one by one, maybe she will start adopting more kids. All in all the show was alright but raised a lot of money, the glorified telethon raised over $30,000,000. Ryan was pretending to do an elimination ceremony throughout the whole show, but in the end he announced no one was going home. All of the "Idol's" are safe at least for one more night.


Hugh Grant got arrested for assaulting photographer with baked beans yesterday. Hugh got very angry at a paparazzo and attacked the 436year old man than managed to leave him covered in baked beans. Add some hot dogs to that mix and at least could have attacked the guy with a full meal.

Simon in trouble again

Simon Cowell is getting a lot of flack from all of the tabloid magazines today because of last nights episode of "American Idol." Apparently the not so friendly judge rolled his eyes at the end of Chris Richardson's performance, Chris sent a shout out to all of his friends at Virginia Tech and told them to stay strong. The pictures taken in every article today has Simon rolling his eyes at Chris' comment. Simon says he was not rolling his eyes at Chris' heartfelt concern for his friends, he was rolling his eyes when Chris said his performance was meant to be nasal.

Gunn might go

In the world of reality television there is usually a judge who is awful to deal with. It makes for good entertainment but you can't help but feel bad for the contestants. For instance "American Idol" has Simon Cowell, and "Top Chef" had Tom Collichio. There was one show that had a supportive and calm Judge "Project Runway's" Tim Gunn was always mellow and helpful with the contestants. He tried to lead them in the right direction and helped them as much as he could. When it was reported that he was considering leaving the show to work on other projects people were very upset. "Project Runway" is a very popular show and it would not be the same without him. No one has to worry Gunn has decided to stay with the show, He will be returning for another season. Gunn has a full plate, he is returning for another season of the show and he is also starting a new series for Bravo called "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style." Bravo is treating him well and the fans love him!

Sanjaya rules!!!!!

Last night on "American Idol" Sanjaya danced his butt off for the judges. He went as far as going up to the judges table and grabbing Paula to dance with him. The judges do not understand why people keep voting for this crazy kid who changes his look every week. The judges, especially Simon, don't understand why America thinks Sanjaya should be the next "American Idol," but they can't do anything about it. America is voting and they are all clearly voting for crazy Sanjaya.

Britney is free! She got out of Promises rehabilitation center this morning. The pop princess has completed the 30 day program and is ready to go home to her two sons. Where is k-fed? you would think he would come to see Britney, but he is preparing for his big birthday bash at Pure night club in Vegas. Britney gets out of rehab and K-fed is getting drunk, their two sons are so lucky to have parents like these two! Lets see if this program truly helped her control her temper and the crazy decisions she has made over the last few months. It won't be as fun for us if she doesn't do something crazy, what are we supposed to read about.


Paula Abdul is going after Simon Cowell again, It is no secret that the two "American Idol" judges don't see eye to eye, but Paula took it a little to far. On "The Late Show" she hit him where it hurts, she made fun of his manhood and called him arrogant. They should just hook up and get it over with, it is bound to happen eventually, then maybe their will finally be peace between the two.

Tom Cruise is pushing the Beckham's a little to far. He does not stop calling them and wants them to adopt Scientology. Victoria is getting very annoyed by how often he is calling and how overbearing he is with Katie. The two new best friends have a lot to talk about, Katie's relationship with Tom. Posh and Becks feel bad over how controlling Tom is over Katie, and they want to help. The girls go shopping, and god knows what the guys do?

Naomi Campbell starts cleaning up today. She reported for her five day sentence early this morning. The super model will be handling a mop and a broom for her community service at a sanitation garage in Manhattan, Campbell was sentenced to community service because she threw a cell phone at her maid. I guess the tables have turned, now she will be the one cleaning up all the mess.

Hard hitting journalist Anderson Cooper did the interview that many people wanted to watch, aninterview with American Idol's Simon Cowell. He asked serious questions like why are you so mean to all of the contestants? and why did you call one of the contestants a "Bush Baby?" Simon has no remorse about being mean to some of the contestants on the show, after all that is a big part of what makes American Idol fun to watch, Viewers wait to see what Simon will say, his snide comments make the show more interesting. With all of the serious interviews Anderson Cooper has done, it is very surprising that he decided to interview Simon Cowell, I guess everyone wants a small piece of Simon Cowell.


Terrence Howard who has been rumored to be dating Naomi Campbell, has a secret desire he was overheard by a NY cab driver saying he wanted someone to pop the zits on my back with their teeth. I mean it is understandable to have a fantasy, but I think if this is true it is taking it a little to far!
