Who will be the next "American Idol"

Jordin has the voice but Blake has the attitude, the question on everyone's mind is how will America vote? We will all find out tonight on the 2 hour finale of this season's "American Idol." Blake and Jordin had a true battle on last night's show, Paula said is was one of the best finale's "Idol" has ever seen. When the results come in tonight one thing is for sure, these two sang their butts off and deserve everything that will soon be coming their way. Melinda Doolittle is gone and now the only two contestants left standing are Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis. Blake saved himself and became America's golden boy when he beat boxed his way through Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name." Jordin stole the hearts of America with her genuinely amazing voice, her performances are always on point. Blake vs. Jordin, tune in next week to see who will be the next "American Idol."

Drew gives back

Drew Barrymore really does care, she was named Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations . Drew is trying to get relief for children in Africa, she does not understand why these children go for days without food and truly wants to help, she is working as an advocate for school feeding programs in developing countries. Drew was so sad to learn that half of these children only go to school because they will get one cup of food, many of these children don't even eat all the food and take it home so they can share it with their families. Drew wants to find a way to bring more food into the school systems so children don't go starving and can have the concentration to learn, if these children are able to learn they may eventually have the chance to create a better life for themselves and their families. It is so sad how much we take for granted, many people are trying to make a difference in these countries the most famous one of all is U2 front man Bono, "American Idol" held a huge telethon called "Idol Gives Back" and raised close to $60 million for underprivileged children in Africa and America. There are so many things that we take for granted but when you see a young child starving to death it makes you realize what is truly important in life.

Today is going to Blake Lewis, he beat boxed his way into America's hearts, his performance on last nights "American Idol" was truly one of the best performances this season. He proved himself to all the judges and to Bon Jovi, he really could be the next "American Idol."

George Bush on "American Idol?" The President and First Lady aired a taped announcement on "Idol" last night to "thank all the celebrities, including Bono," and all of the contestants for singing their hearts out in order to raise money for impoverished children in Africa and America. Eddie Murphy is being sent to court to take a paternity test that he originally asked for. Former Spice Girl Melanie B. AKA Scary Spice is positive that Eddie is the father of her newly born baby, Mel named her daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown after her "alleged" father. Eddie originally wanted the paternity test, but now he is saying he refuses to take the test and won't sign the birth certificate. Come on Eddie! If you ask for the test it looks unbelievably fishy that your not taking it.


Isaiah Washington is trying to mend his fences for publicly outing his Grey's Anatomy co-star T.R. Knight. Over the past year Washington used a gender racial slur twice towards his "Grey's" co-star, now he is trying to keep the peace and is doing a announcement for public serviceGLAAD. (The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.) What is GLAAD thinking he called his friend a fa**ot so they think he should do a public service announcement, hopefully he will keep his mouth shut otherwise he will have a lot of guys smacking him with their Prada belts and a lot of women punching him in the face. Vanessa Manillo and Nick Lachey may be walking down the aisle very soon, the young couple have recently moved into a swanky New York pad and may start planning a wedding. The couple are testing the waters by living with each other so they can see if the are compatible enough for marriage. Alec was so freaked out by the way he acted towards his daughter that he did not want to be in the public eye any more. Alec has been in every paper and tabloid magazine this past week for calling his daughter Ireland " a rude, thoughtless little pig" he is saying he took his anger out on his daughter when he was really directing it toward his ex-wife Kim. Alec did an interview for "The View" that will air today, and told Rosie O'Donnell and Barbara Walter that he wants to quit his hit show that is based on "Saturday Night Live" "30 Rock." he is so embarrassed and ashamed by the way he treated his daughter and wants to keep a low profile for a little while. Representatives for "30 Rock" say Alec is not leaving the show and has to complete his contract then can decide if he wants to leave the show.

A warrant has been issued for Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty's arrest. Judge Dinesh Gupta issued the warrants in India's northwesterrn city Jaipur after a local citizen filed a complaint. Citizens of India are claiming the two actors " transgressed all limits of vulgarity." There are very strict public indecency laws in India and these two actors overstepped their boundaries, many citizens of India are extremely mad and disappointed at Richard and Shilpa's behavior. Last week crowds were burning many of Richard's popular movies in effigy, Richard had left India after the kissing incident but is a frequent visitor to the country. There is no saying what will happen to Gere if he is convicted but Indian law states a person who is arrested for public obscenity faces up to 6 months in prison, a fine, or both. Tobey Maguire made the most expensive movie ever made and he is not afraid to reap the rewards. Tobey is traveling around the world to promote Spider Man 3, but he is not traveling alone, he is bringing his entourage of 10, his fiance Jennifer Meyer, and his daughter Ruby. In every city he stays in Tobey asked to have a personal chef to cook him vegetarian meals, a rocking chair and full sized refrigerator in all of his hotel rooms, and two cases of the water he likes. Tobey knows this movie is going to be a huge success, and thinks he has every right to ask for whatever he wants. Good job Tobey! take advantage of it while you still can.


American Idol gave back last night, but unfortunately it was a fairly boring two hour show. There were performances by Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and others but it was not as fun to watch as I thought it would be . The best parts were when they showed the judges traveling to Africa. It showed the softer side of Simon and the fun side of Ryan as he played with many African children who were all very sick. Surprisingly Madonna was part of the show and did a short clip from where else, Malawi. She is trying to save impoverished African children one by one, maybe she will start adopting more kids. All in all the show was alright but raised a lot of money, the glorified telethon raised over $30,000,000. Ryan was pretending to do an elimination ceremony throughout the whole show, but in the end he announced no one was going home. All of the "Idol's" are safe at least for one more night.


Hugh Grant got arrested for assaulting photographer with baked beans yesterday. Hugh got very angry at a paparazzo and attacked the 436year old man than managed to leave him covered in baked beans. Add some hot dogs to that mix and at least could have attacked the guy with a full meal.

It is going back to Sanjaya! "American Idol" star Sanjaya Malakar knows what it is like to be a woman magnet, at least that is what he says. Sanjaya claims that he understands women, but many people think that he might be gay because he has never had a girlfriend. Sanjaya claims to know what women want., but we have to wonder how he could know without having any experience. All I can say is today goes to Sanjaya! If he truly knows what women want whoever his girlfriend or boyfriend ends up to be is very lucky!

It finally happened after weeks of suspense Sanjaya Malakar finally got voted off "American Idol." surprised his fans and the "Idol" judges with his off the wall looks, every week he would transform into a different character. The most infamous look he ever had was the pony hawk, he had people talking about him for weeks. The young "singer" has entertained us for weeks and kept us wondering about what he would be wearing next. Sanjaya was not the greatest singer in the world but he definitely knew how to entertain the crowd with his appearance. It is sad that he had to go but it is time to give the other contestants a fair chance.

Trump and Rosie go at it again, Donald received a pair of Rosie O'Donnell's underwear from the movie "Exit to Eden." Donald sent the underwear to Barbara Walters so she could hang it on the office wall for everyone to see.



Snoop is a hard person to get on stage, his fee to perform is about $150,000 and his demands are large. Snoop did a performance at Cipriani Wall Street for a UNICEF benefit, he had 10 people from his entourage flown in first class for the event. Once snoop arrived at the venue he flipped out because one of his requests was to have an Xbox in his dressing room but he did not get one, Someone had to run out and get one from their house so Snoop would have something to play with. He did not hit he stage until an hour after he was supposed to because he was to high to make it to the stage. The restaurant claimed they had to put the rapper and his entourage on the third floor otherwise the whole restaurant would have reeked of dope.

Ryan Gosling wanted to focus on his career so he decided to break up with Rachel McAdams. When Gosling hit the red carpet for his new movie "Fracture" the only questions he got were about his relationship, people were not that interested in asking him questions about the film. Ryan brought his mom to the premiere and they were asking her questions abut Ryan's love life as well, all they said is their relationship is definitely over!



Sanjaya finally got booted from "American Idol." I really thought he was going to make it all the way, but the 17 year old can not sing. He was entertaining and was definitely the most talked about contestant on this seasons show but it was definitely time for Sanjaya to leave the show.

Apparently the not so friendly judge rolled his eyes at the end of Chris Richardson's performance, Chris sent a shout out to all of his friends at Virginia Tech and told them to stay strong. The pictures taken in every article today has Simon rolling his eyes at Chris' comment. Simon says he was not rolling his eyes at Chris' heartfelt concern for his friends, he was rolling his eyes when Chris said his performance was meant to be nasal.

• Did Britney get liposuction? She was spotted walking out of a lipo clinic in Las Vegas and recently appears to be much thinner. Before going into rehab she was on the chunkier side, now that she is out the weight seemed to fall right off. Britney's trainer says it is from fewer cheeto's and more squats. Rehab could have had something to do with it she had no access to all the liquor that probably made her fatter to begin with.

• Jessica Simpson is going to be the new Pussycat Doll, at least for one night. She is hosting a scantily clad performance by the Pussycat Doll's at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. Maybe she will join in on the performance so her rock star boyfriend John Mayer can have something to drool over for a night.

• "American Idol" winner hit country music gold last night. Carrie Underwood walked away with three Country Music Awards last night for her hit song "Before He Cheats."

• Speaking of "American Idol" I wonder who will be the next contestant to get voted off. Tonight is country music night with Martina McBride playing celebrity mentor. It should be one of Sanjaya's most interesting performances, I can't imagine him belting out a country tune. Will it finally be the end of Sanjaya? Or will he manage to pull through once again. Tune in tonight to see if he can pull it off or if he will come out with another whacky hair do that will save him once again.

• Rachel McCadams and Ryan Gosling are taking a break from each other. Ryan's career is exploding so he decided to take a break from his relationship in order to focus on his work. They are apparently both miserable so I am sure they will get back together soon. "The Notebook" couple will hopefully reunite and turn their movie into their own reality.

• Everyone was waiting for it and last night it finally happened. People were waiting to see if Heather Mills would fall on her ass if her prosthetic leg would go flying off. On last night's episode of "Dancing With the Stars" it finally happened. Check out her little spill from last night's show.

He told Gawker.com editor Emily Gould that he does not understand why people would advertise on a website that is all about celebrity gossip when he interviewed her on “Larry King Live.” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” buys ad space on three different blogs that are about celebrity gossip. His show advertises on A Socialites Life, Egotastic, and The Superficial. He should watch his words before advertisers ban his show.

Chevy Chase missed out on SNL. He was one of the first comedians to appear on the show but left after one season. He credits himself with starting the late night comedy and news shows such as “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” He regrets leaving “Saturday Night Live” but if he had never left we would never have the National Lampoon’s movies. Thank you for leaving Chevy!

Another celebrity is jumping on the adoption bandwagon. Penelope Cruz said she wants to have her own kids but does not think her life will be complete unless she adopts at least on child. Adopting a child for a celebrity is like buying the newest and hottest handbag around. It seems like know it is just the fashionable thing to do. I wonder who else is going to follow in Angelina’s footsteps.



Everybody loves Sanjaya! Carson Daly admitted that he is addicted to “American Idol” and tunes in every week just to see what Sanjaya’s new hairstyle will be. .It is amazing how many people are rooting for this kid. I think people are a lot more interested in his style and not his singing. I hope that is the case because as I have repeatedly said the kid can’t sing!!!




Don Imus finally got canned. It was no surprise to him that CBS fired him from his radio show after he made a comment that the Rutger’s women’s basketball team were “nappy headed ho’s.” After his last radio show he said on air that it could be his last. In the world of reality television there is usually a judge who is awful to deal with. It makes for good entertainment but you can't help but feel bad for the contestants. For instance "American Idol" has Simon Cowell, and "Top Chef" had Tom Collichio. There was one show that had a supportive and calm Judge "Project Runway's" Tim Gunn was always mellow and helpful with the contestants. He tried to lead them in the right direction and helped them as much as he could. When it was reported that he was considering leaving the show to work on other projects people were very upset. "Project Runway" is a very popular show and it would not be the same without him. No one has to worry Gunn has decided to stay with the show, He will be returning for another season. Gunn has a full plate, he is returning for another season of the show and he is also starting a new series for Bravo called "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style." Bravo is treating him well and the fans love him!
