Who do you think will last longer?

Are they together or not, these two couples are always rumored to be either separated or broken up but they always seem to get back together. I wonder if Tony and Eva will make it down the aisle and if Jessica and John will last until Tony and Eva make it down the aisle.

The break up

John and Jessica have called it quits at least for a little while. Apparently this is nothing new for the couple, they have broken up and gotten back together many times before. John and Jessica are in constant contact and hopefully they will get back together soon, after all they did seem to be the perfect couple!

Where was Jessica?

Jessica was a no show at the Operation Smile benefit, and everyone was wondering where she was. Jessica has been a strong supporter for the benefit and has done as much as possible to help this charity build schools all over the world, but has not worked with the charity in almost a year. Jessica went to Africa for the charity last year but after her well publicized trip and her divorce from Nick Lachey she has been keeping a low profile with the charity. John Mayer must be giving her more than enough to smile about so maybe Jessica decided she does not need to smile for charity anymore.

The Simpson's approve

Joe approves, so now Jessica and John have the support of the whole Simpson clan. John and Jessica have been dating for a while now but only recently did Joe Simpson approve of the relationship, he was a little weary of her getting into another serious relationship and did not want her to get hurt but he now realizes that John Mayer is the perfect guy for his little girl!

Watch your words

Some people need to learn how to keep their mouths shut. GQ editor Jim Nelson has gotten himself into some trouble for his letter to the readers in the new may issue.

Break room blabber

• Did Britney get liposuction? She was spotted walking out of a lipo clinic in Las Vegas and recently appears to be much thinner. Before going into rehab she was on the chunkier side, now that she is out the weight seemed to fall right off. Britney's trainer says it is from fewer cheeto's and more squats. Rehab could have had something to do with it she had no access to all the liquor that probably made her fatter to begin with.

• Jessica Simpson is going to be the new Pussycat Doll, at least for one night. She is hosting a scantily clad performance by the Pussycat Doll's at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. Maybe she will join in on the performance so her rock star boyfriend John Mayer can have something to drool over for a night.

Who do you think is luckier the fence or Kirstie? Luckily the "Fat Actress" joined Weight Watchers otherwise her little leap of faith would have her landing on her ass and the fence split into tiny pieces.

• Should Sanjaya be the next "American Idol?" He can't sing and the judges told him so last night. Sanjaya is like a lovable cartoon character, he is fun to watch but how long can it last? Tune in for tonight's results show to see if he makes it through once again.

Daily recap

• Britney and Kevin's divorce is final. The had a five hour meeting yesterday to agree on a settlement. Know that Britney is out of rehab she is waiting to get her kids back. First she has to prove she is over her infamous party girl phase.

• John Mayer got the Simpson approval. He got the thumbs up from Jessica's sister Ashlee. The threesome have been seen together around Los Angeles sipping cocktails and going to concerts.

• Ellen's house is up for sale. The $24million Montecito Ranch has been put on the market. Maybe Sandra Bullock should buy it so she can recreate the wedding she had dreamed of.

• Parisdrove with a suspended license and might get thrown in the slammer for up to 90 days. The kicker is she said she had no idea her license was suspended. How stupid can she really be!

• Jonathan Rhys Meyers is playing the role of the long awaited film about the life of Henry VIII "The Tudors." The Golden Globe winner is said to be spectacular in this ten part series which will air on Showtime April 1.

• Mark Wahlberg is on fire. He is set to star in the new M. Night Shyamalan flick "The Happening." It is coming out on June 13,2008, ironically enough that date is Friday the 13. Perfect day for a new thriller about the end of the world.

• George Hamilton may be the new Bob Barker. He is in talks to replace the highly respected game show host on "The Price is Right." He will be the new guy telling everyone to come on down!

• Dine and Dash is still an art form in some places. Beware folks! eventually someone is going to catch you.

John passed the test.

John Mayer passed the ultimate Simpson family test. He got the approval of Jessica's little sister Ashlee. Apparently Ashlee is in love with John and the three of them hang out all of the time. John and Jessica have been going out for close to eight months now, they have traveled a lot and just got back from a romantic vacation in Rome. They are seen around town kissing at lunch and are a fixture at many concerts all around Los Angeles. The relationship is not as public as her previous one with Nick Lachey. John and Jessica are trying to keep it low key and it definitely seems to be working for them.

Ashlee's new boy

Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy front man Pete Wentz are a couple, they have denied rumors for a while and Pete said they were just friends and nothing would ever happen between them, well that has all changed. They have been seen around the LA party circuit together, and seem to be getting very close. Jessica's not the only Simpson that gets to date a hot rocker boy. Maybe the four of them should get together for a collaboration. I would love to see John Mayer and Pete Wentz in a guitar battle.

49th annual Grammy Awards

Last nights 49th annual Grammy awards was an event with amazing performances and amazing fashion. In my opinion the best dressed female of the evening was Christina Aguilera. She looked beautiful in this blush Emanuel Ungaro gown and Christian Laboutin shoes.Her performance of A Man's world was one of the highlights of last nights show. There were many others that made last nights event an awesome concert experience. Performances by Chris Brown as he had a team of stompers behind him. John Mayer with Corinne Bailey Rae and John legend gave an amazing trio performance that highlighted their own sounds. And last but not least an amazing performance by Mary J. Blige that undoubtedly got her a standing ovation. Last night was a great 3 hour television experience!
