Ricky Martin is in the hot seat! The Latin Heart throb made an obscene gesture during a concert last week in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While singing one of his songs " Asignatura Pendiente" He stuck up his middle finger when he sang the presidents name. The song includes a line that says " a photo with bush" thousands cheered at his obscene comment. Martin who was on the presidents side and sang at the presidents 2001 inauguration ball has changed his views on President Bush. Martin was quoted as saying "My convictions of peace and life go beyond any government and political agenda and as long as I have a voice onstage and offstage, I will always condemn war and those who promulgate it" He is strictly opposed to the war in Iraq and is practicing his freedom of Speech. Residents of Puerto Rico have strong feelings about Washington because as U.S. citizens they can be drafted, but in the same respect they are not allowed to vote so they don't have a voice in choosing a president.
