Regis Philbin gets replaced. The former host of the NBC show
"America's Got Talent" is being replaced by Jerry Springer. Philbin said he decided not to host the second season of the show due to the heavy traveling schedule, it is very difficult for him to tape
"Live With Regis and Kelly" which is taped in New York, and "America's Got Talent" which is filmed in Los Angeles. Jerry Springer decided to do the show when he was approached by NBC' Craig Plestis. Springer said he has had a lot of the contestants on his talk show and said he would feel right at home playing host. The second season is set to air this summer on NBC.
