Happy Friday!

The weekend starts in about 4 hours. Friday night is the day we all look forward to. The workweek is over and it is time to relax. The weekend can either be the most relaxing or stressful thing in the world. First you have to figure out who you think is worthy enough to hang out with. After that process ends you have to figure out what to do. Movies, bars, dinner? The options can be endless. Just deciding on what to do can take over an hour. The conversation with your friends is an ongoing circle of what do you want to do? I don't know what do you want to do? It is the most annoying response in the world. Once you figure out what you want to do you have to think about where you want to do it. For instance if you want to go out to dinner you have to find a cuisine that everyone can agree on then you have to pick a place. When you are going out with 5-10 people the odds of everyone agreeing on a certain type of food is nearly impossible. Say you decide to skip dinner and go straight to the drinking, finding a bar is not as hard to do, but you have to figure out who is going to drive. That conversation somehow always turns into a fight. Most people are not big fans of driving their retardedly drunk friends around all the time. As a designated driver you run the risk of having one of your friends puke in your car, that's a great way to spend a Friday night! Another option could be going to a movie it is quiet and relaxing. You don't have to talk to anyone and if you suddenly get exhausted from your week of work, you don't have to feel to bad for falling asleep because no one will notice. The only downside to a movie is trying to get everyone to agree on what movie to see. Friday nights can turn out to be more stressful than working. Suddenly sitting in your office does not seem so bad. It is probably easier to go out by yourself, grab some dinner and catch a movie, there is no stress and no fighting.. Everyone needs a break from their friends sometimes. After all there is always Saturday night. Here are some of my favorite dining destinations. For a nice sit down Italian dinner you can't go wrong with Eccola or Casa Bella. Burgers and Fries on your mind? Cleveland's tap room has the greatest assortment of bar food. It is fresh and delicious. If it is pizza you are craving the Reservoir tavern is the place to go. It is a casual atmosphere with spectacular pizza and pasta. Whatever you are craving is within your reach, there should be no stress involved in enjoying a delicious meal.

Ryan has found his rebound girl

Ryan Reynolds has been spotted out in Manhattan restaurants with sexy starlet Scarlett Johanssen. After his February break up with long time girlfriend Alanis Morissette, he kept a low profile. This past weekend he reappeared with one of the sexiest women in Hollywood. The were spotted at Manhattan's Odeon restaurant sharing a quiet and intimate dinner. The "couple" also spent Easter together. They went to a fancy brunch yesterday at the Carlyle Hotel with a group of their pals, other guests said the couple seemed to be having a great time with all of their friends.

Snack time

When you are hungry while you are watching late night television and don't know what to eat I have an idea for you. Last night after dinner I was not satisfied and was craving something sweet. I went through my fridge to see what I had and ended up coming up with the most delicious concoction. It might sound weird but I guarantee if you try it you will love it. I made a twist on the traditional smore. I took 2 graham cracker squares added a marshmallow and a piece of chocolate, which are the ingredients for the All American smore. I added my own little twist to it because I wanted to make it a little healthier (at least in my head I thought it was healthier) I added pieces of banana and strawberries inside the graham crackers. It was delicious! It tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry and a chocolate covered banana combined in one. the fluffiness of a sweet marshmallow embedded around the chocolate gushyness made it so much better! It is a truly amazing snack, and I know it sounds weird but I guarantee if you try it you will love it.

Sunday dinner

On most Sunday's my friends and I have a ritual, we get together for an early dinner to catch up on what happened over the weekend. It is our own version of the girls at the diner on "Sex and the City." Last night we went to Cleveland's Tap Room. I have been there many times, but usually on a Thursday night to hang out not eat. I knew they had the greatest cheeseburgers in the world, but last night I wanted to try something different. I ventured out and got Shepherd's Pie. For those of you who have had it before I wish you had told me about it, for those who have not Oh my god!!!! It is one of the most delicious things you will ever put in your mouth. It is a layer of beef, mixed with carrots, celery, peas, and onions then the whole thing is topped off with a creamy smooth delicious layer of mashed potatoes. It is all baked in the oven so the potatoes get a crispy brown crust on top, my mouth is watering just talking about it. It truly is one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth.

Medieval times

Medieval Times! For those of you who have not you been, u definitely need to go. Today was my first experience and I have to say it was very fascinating. I knew that it was all about knights jousting, but it is so much more than that, all of the ceremonies and random events that occur will have you screaming in your seats, literally. First off you walk into a room where they tell you what knight you will be rooting for. Options are black, white, red, green, and yellow and red, ( I was on the red side) you get your crown according to what color Knight you will be rooting for, then you go into the actual theater, once you step in you forget that you are living in 2007. There is a ceremonial greeting for the king and the princess for which the knights are fighting for. The King announces the feast, and as you turn around wenches put a plate of food in front of you, If you were not concentrating on the king you would realize all of the stomping occurring behind you, but you are so involved in what is going on that you begin to lose yourself in the surroundings. Wenches come around to serve you a full out medieval dinner which consists of roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, vegetable soup, and garlic bread which is all eaten by hand, there are absolutely no utensil the only thing you get is a napkin. After the feast you get to watch your Knight fight for the princess's affection. There is a jousting battle which I have to say is the funnest to watch, and a sword fight. It truly is one of the funnest experiences to have. It is a magical two hours to pretend you are living in "Medieval Times"
