Sunday dinner

On most Sunday's my friends and I have a ritual, we get together for an early dinner to catch up on what happened over the weekend. It is our own version of the girls at the diner on "Sex and the City." Last night we went to Cleveland's Tap Room. I have been there many times, but usually on a Thursday night to hang out not eat. I knew they had the greatest cheeseburgers in the world, but last night I wanted to try something different. I ventured out and got Shepherd's Pie. For those of you who have had it before I wish you had told me about it, for those who have not Oh my god!!!! It is one of the most delicious things you will ever put in your mouth. It is a layer of beef, mixed with carrots, celery,peas, and onions then the whole thing is topped off with a creamy smooth delicious layer of mashed potatoes. It is all baked in the oven so the potatoes get a crispy brown crust on top, my mouth is watering just talking about it. It truly is one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth.

There is always news about Britney, The Brits truly are lucky to get a break from her rehab news. After her arrival home from rehab, she is laying low and spending quality time with her family. The kids are still with K-fed but they visit their mom with a nanny once in a while. K-fed has his huge birthday blowout tomorrow at Pure night club in Las Vegas what a great way to celebrate Britney getting out of rehab!

Regis is alright.

Regis is ok! The co-host of Live With Regis and Kelly called in to the morning show yesterday so his fans could hear that he was doing alright. He said the only problems he is really having is getting used to the pain medication the doctors prescribed. Apparently it makes him do unusual things like sleepwalking and having random embarrassing outbursts. It can't be much worse than the outbursts he has on his show when he is trying to make a point. I am sure everyone is just glad he is ok and waiting for his return to the show.

Movie Time

Three new anticipated movies coming out today. "The Hills Have Eyes II" "The Last Mimzy" and " Reign Over Me." There is a film for everyone this weekend, whether you want to be frightened, feel good, or watch with your kids. These three movies each have someting to satisfy your movie watching mood.

"The Hills Have Eyes II" is the sequel to the frightening tale of National Guard trainees who find themselves battling mutants on their last day of training in the dessert. Beware of the blood, definitely not a movie for the faint hearted.

Titanic stars together again

Jack and Rose are going to be together again. "Titanic" stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet are set to co-star "Revolutionary Road" with director Sam Mendes. The movie is about a young couple with two children living in the 1950's who are caught up with their desires and are being forced to conform to the true American way of life.

Vanessa is ready to be a mom

TRL's Vanessa Mannillo and Nick Lachey have been dating for almost a year, she is telling people that she is ready to be a mom. They funny part is she is saying she is looking forward to motherhood at a Bicardi Limon party in Manhattan, drinking and motherhood maybe not the greatest combo. She is not!!! pregnant but says she can't wait to have three little boys and a girl. Maybe this time Nick will get it right and start a little entertainment family.

Mel does it again!

Mel Gibson freaked out again last night! He appeared at Cal State to talk about his controversial film "Apocalypto" members of the Mayan society were in the audience to hear him speak. Assistant professor Alicia Estrada asked Gibson if he had studied the Mayan culture before making the film, he said he had fully researched all aspects of Mayan Civilization. Estrada said he portrayed the culture in the wrong way and he got very defensive and told her to "F**k off." All of his films have been causing a lot of controversy, but in the eyes of a film maker that has to be a good thing, it will make many more people want to see what the film is all about.

Is she jealous or was there really a conflict in schedules? Nicky Hilton was supposed to have a show at Miami's fashion week for her clothing line Nicholai but cancelled it yesterday due to a scheduling conflict, but the rumor going around is she did not want to have anything to do with fellow heiress Lydia Hearst. There was an incident in L.A. at an Alvin Valley Fashion show where Hearst was pulled out of the front row at the last minute to fill in for a model. The rumor is that Nicky is very mad and jealous that Hearst found her way on the runway and Nicky didn't. It must be such a hard life for an heiress!


Katie Couric and super jazz musician Chris Botti Chris Botti together again. There were rumors that they were dating a few months ago but now they have been spotted in different clubs and intimate dinners around New York City. Some of you may not remember Chris, but if you used to watch the Rosie O'Donnell show back in the day, he was her band leader that everyone thought was gay. Funny how in reality the situation was flipped.


Both of the Hilton sisters are making the papers today. Turns out Paris seems to think she was robbed when she arrived at LAX, apparently the security officers snatched some of her stuff while they were going through her bags. This is the second time this has happened to Paris turns out that a while ago someone stole a pricey watch from her baggage when she went through security. What a hard day for the Hilton sisters.

• Vivica gets picked for drunk driving, Don't any of these people watch what is going on with other celebrities!

• Justin was supposed to be honored for his musical achievements in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee until Republican senator Raymond Finney thought Hmmm... not such a good idea, he does not want to honor the guy who showed Janet Jackson's boob on national television. I guess bringing sexyback is not such a good thing for some people.

• TheBrits get a break from Britney, and injunction was ruled in her favor so the British press are not allowed to snoop around and find out how she was acting in rehab. Lucky Britishers they get a break, and we are going to be bombarded with everything Britney and K-fed.

No more Britney

For the first time ever someone about Britney won't be revealed! She won and injunction in Britain to now have any information about her stint in rehab revealed to the press. She actually gets privacy on something. She filed for this injunction once she learned that someone was trying to leak out all of the information about her stay. The Brits are very lucky, they are spared one less story about Britney if only it were the same here.

Justin got dissed

Justin was going to get honored but the senator decided to take it back. Justin was supposed be honored in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee but Republican senator Raymond Finney does not think it would be a appropriate to honor someone who unleashed Janet Jackson's boob on national television. The senator says he also does not agree to some of the lyrical content in "SexyBack" and "Rock Your Body" The senator said he just does not think it would be the best thing to have his name on. Who wouldn't want to have their name associated with Justin it would not be a bad thing, nothing that is attached to Justin's name is really bad, well maybe with the exception of Britney.

Vivica gets picked

Vivica A. Fox got picked Tuesday night for driving under the influence, she was flying down the highway at 80mph in a 65mph zone. The cops said she was intoxicated and above the legal alcohol limit. She should have pulled some of her Kill Bill moves to try to get out of it. What is going on with these celebs, someone is getting out of rehab and someone else is going in. Vivica gets arrested right after Foxy Brown's whole ordeal STOP partying so hard people! Don't you see what happens through other peoples examples?

Jet Li back in action

Jet Li is going to be the new villain in "The Mummy 3" The plot has not been leaked out, the only thing that has been confirmed is that the film will be made in China and will begin in ancient times then move in to a WWII setting. Jet Li's latest movie included "Fearless" and "Unleashed" which tagged him as being one of the most respected martial artist's in the industry. "The Mummy 3" is sure to be an intense film with amazing action sequences.

"Bra Boys"

Russell Crowe is making his directorial debut. He is set to direct Aussie surfer flick "Bra Boys." It is the story of three brothers (Sunny, Koby, and Jai Abberton) that began the underground surfer movement. The surfing movement has become a huge phenomenon, the competition is fierce and the underground world of surfers is unlike any other. These three brothers influenced a lifestyle that has spread throughout the world. This movie will depict the crazy and dangerous lifestyle of the surfing world. Think about the three girls in "Blue Crush" they were hardcore surfer chicks, who lead a lazy surfing life. All they did was get up and hit the beach. This movie is somewhat similar but with a harder look at the lives of surfers, and with three guys in stead of three girls of course!

Paul tries to make peace

Even in the middle of an ugly divorce Paul McCartney decided to make a little peace. He sent "Dancing With The Stars" contestant and his ex-wife Heather Mills flowers, to congratulate her on her dancing premiere. She is getting close to $55 million in her divorce settlement but I am sure the flowers meant much more to her than getting all that money.

Jay- Z makes good on his promises, he had a friendly bet with playboy editor Rob Tannenbaum on whether or not Jay-Z would ever retire. When Jay-z retired for a little while he won the $20 bet, but when he came out of retirement he had to fork over some cash. Tannenbaum called his assistant as a joke to remind the rapper of his wager. Tannenbaum later receive a $1,000 delivery.


Jesse Metcalfe went into rehab this morning. The quiet actor who became a Hollywood heartthrob for playing the hot Gardener has decided to get some help for his alcohol abuse. This past weekend the actor went on a drinking binge at the Mondrian hotel and realized it was time to get some help. He should call Britney for some advice!

• Emily Blunt is going to be the new Queen Victoria, she is set to star as a young queen in the Martin Scorsese film "The Young Victoria." What a difference ,first she played an assistant now she is the QUEEN!

• Sanjaya rocked his heart out last night, people wonder why he keeps getting voted for, and the judges are a little confused as well. Maybe he will be the next "American Idol" lets wait and see what happens.

• Ocean's Thirteenis coming to a theater near you on June 8th. Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin are joining the cast. This time Benedict (Andy Garcia) joins the crew to accomplish the biggest heist they have ever thought of.

• Brangelina's crew is back together again. Pax Thien Jolieis making his arrival today. The United Nations family will be reunited once again. (no pun intended.)

• Apparently sobriety does not grant you custody of your children. Britney checked out of rehab this morning and thought she might get her kids back but the verdict is they are staying with K-fed, I hope he has a good nanny! I don't see him staying home with his son's especially because he parties in Vegas almost every weekend. Hmmmm... who would you want your kids with? I am surprised either parent has custody!
