Here's whats for lunch

A light and healthy lunch is what we all look for once the weather starts to get warmer, a hot and heavy meal goes out the window once the summer approaches. The weather is getting warmer and no one wants to put a lot of heat in the kitchen so salads seem like the best way to go. I decided to make a small fruit salad for lunch today, it is simple and very refreshing. I wanted to add some protein to my meal so I decided to add a few walnuts and a little bit of cottage cheese. My version of a healthy fruit salad contains an apple, banana, orange, and some grapes. Create your own version of fruit salad with some of your favorite fruits and enjoy a healthy and refreshing lunch!



Ingredients:

1 apple cut into wedges
1 banana sliced
1 orange peeled and segmented
a hand full of grapes
2 tablespoons of cottage cheese
1 tablespoon of walnuts

Preparation:
It does not get easier than this, toss all ingredients in bowl and enjoy!
